Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when you may be entitled to a refund for a GitPort subscription ("Service"), operated by GitPort ("we", "us", or "our"). Payments are processed securely by Paddle, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record.

1. General Policy

All subscription fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable, except as stated below or as required by applicable law. When you cancel a subscription, you retain access to paid features until the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

2. Eligibility for a Refund

You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Accidental purchase: You were charged unintentionally and contact us within 48 hours of the charge.
  • Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same subscription period.
  • Service unavailability: The Service was materially unavailable for an extended period due to an issue on our end that we were unable to resolve in a reasonable timeframe.
  • Statutory rights: You are entitled to a refund under applicable consumer protection law (for example, a 14-day cooling-off period under EU consumer law, where applicable).

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us via our support centre with a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your card issuer or payment provider and are typically 5–10 business days.

4. Chargebacks

If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is resolved.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
