Terms of Use
Last updated: June 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GitPort ("Service"), operated by GitPort ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
GitPort is a unified Git dashboard that connects to third-party Git providers (such as GitHub and GitLab) via their public APIs. The Service allows you to view, manage, and act on repositories, pull requests, issues, and notifications from all connected accounts in one place.
2. Accounts
You may sign up using OAuth authentication provided by a supported Git provider, or with an email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@gitport.dev if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
3. Connected Providers
When you connect a Git provider account, you authorise GitPort to access that account's data and perform actions on your behalf, within the permissions you grant during the OAuth flow. You can disconnect any provider at any time from your account settings. GitPort is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by GitHub, GitLab, or any other third-party provider.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations;
- Access or attempt to access accounts or data you are not authorised to access;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service;
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent any security measures.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features of the Service may be offered under a paid subscription plan. Details about available plans, pricing, and billing cycles are presented at the time of purchase. Subscriptions are billed in advance and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by GitPort and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights. Any content you access via connected Git providers remains subject to the terms of those providers.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data retrieved from third-party providers will be accurate or complete.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GitPort shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
12. Contact
